Minutes of the Meeting of Blyton Parish Council held on 

Monday 26th September 2022 at 7.30pm 

Present:      Councillor B. Rollett (Chairman) Councillor A.Codd, Councillor J Daubney, Councillor R. Turnbull, Councillor C. Daubney                 

In Attendance: Helen Pitman (Clerk)

                                                

1.   Apologies and reasons given:   Councillor R. Dent, Councillor C. Quirke, Councillor L. Clarke..        

2.  To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to receive any applications for Dispensation.  Members may make any declarations at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting:None.

3. Co-option of councillor: .

4. To approve minutes of the last meeting held 25th July 2022:  The minutes were signed as a true record. 

5. Clerk's report on matters outstanding:  The clerk informed council that:.

The streetlight fault on High Street has been reported to LCC and they have been out to fix.

Also BT have been out to inspect the dropped manhole outside the school. Both now fixed?

Rev Briscoe is available to do the Remembrance Day service but only at 12 noon;

Bench and picnic tables now installed thanks to Cllrs Daubney and Codd;

Painting of the phone box to be carried out asap. Been delayed due to a family bereavement;

Letters for allotment rent sent out last week. 

 

.6. Planning: 145502 Blyton Ponds: No objections/comments 

Proposal at 46 High Street to return detached dwelling to 2no semi-detached dwellings: Council did not object to original application. Will support.

Production of Neighbourhood Plan: Need for members of community to come forward to form a steering group. To be advertised on Facebook and website

 

7. Correspondence: LALC news for circulation.

Request for funding from Living Connections. Need them to complete an application form and supply accounts.

 

8.  Financial Matters:

Resolved to pay: H. Pitman (salary/expenses) 502.63; HMRC £66.80; Memorial Hall £5; Glendale £181.71; J. Troop £895; NKDC £98.80; Lincoln Diocesan Trust £75; N Barnett £50; Axholme Pest Control £254.40; Wicksteed Leisure £144. To be paid by internet banking. Proposed, Cllr C. Daubney. Seconded, Cllr J. 9.   Report from Outside Bodies: No West Lindsey councillors present.

11. To resolve on quote for conifer hedge at play area: Deferred as not received.
