Minutes of the Meeting of Blyton Parish Council held on
Monday 27th June 2022 at 7.30pm
Present: Councillor R. Dent (Chairman) Councillor A.Codd Councillor, J Daubney, Councillor R. Turnbull, Councillor C. Quirke, Councillor L. Clarke

1. Apologies and reasons given: Councillor B. Rollett, Councillor C. Daubney,
2. To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to receive any applications for Dispensation. Members may make any declarations at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting:None.
3. Co-option of councillor: No interest.shown.
4. To approve minutes of the last meeting held 23rd May 2022: The minutes were signed as a true record.
5. Clerk's report on matters outstanding: The clerk informed council that:.
AGAR form has been submitted to the external auditor;
Council needs to decide on where to purchase the jubilee tree and which specimen of cherry tree. It was agreed that the clerk purchase a medium size tree with dark foliage from Ornamental Tree Nurseries;
The clerk has paid WLDC for the green bin at the cemetery.
6. Planning: 144963 Asians Retreat, Carr Lane : No objections/comments
145094 3 Paddock Lane: Any objections/comments to be sent to clerk by 1st July 2022.
7. Correspondence: None.
8. Financial Matters:
Resolved to pay: H. Pitman (salary/expenses) £501.80; HMRC £66.80; Memorial Hall £10; Glendale £298.51; J. Troop £610; Community Heartbeat Trust £115.20; Lincoln Diocesan Trust £75; Axholme Pest Control £254.40; Time Assusred Ltd £168. To be paid by internet banking. PWLB £2625.21 D/D. Proposed, Cllr C. Quirke. Seconded, Cllr A. Codd.
9. To review code of conduct: Resolved to adopt revised WLDC code.
10. Report from Outside Bodies: No West Lindsey councillors present.
11. To resolve on this month's Facebook posts: hanks to those who took part in the litter pick.
12. Items of information to be noted and if necessary dealt with at the next meeting:
Clerk confirmed that repair to the bridge on Sandbeck Lane has been reported and LCC will repair. Also overgrown PRoW are in hand.
Concerns re caravans and tents recently at Mantex, Wharton Hill to be reported to Enforcement at WLDC.
Phone box – still awaiting painting. Follow up with chairman.
Benches- Cllr Dent has inspected all benches in the village. As per asset register it was agreed the bench outside the memorial hall is the Village Hall committee’s responsibility and the one near ACIS bungalows belongs to them. All others to be repaired and painted.

Overgrown conifer hedge at play area to be inspected and discussed at next meeting agenda
