In November 2014 the Parish Council purchased a Re-Active Speed Sign. The idea is that at present we have 4 different locations for the Sign to be located. Every 2 to 3 weeks the device is taken down and charged and then erected at its next location.
It is hoped that this will reduce the amount of traffic that speed through our village, we are able to download information and data from the sign to assess just what volume of traffic travels through the village and the average speed at which it goes. The following pages will give you an idea of the results.
Speeding is an on-going problem and one that the Parish Council take seriously.
